Here are the some key points for HV switchgear installation uploaded by MSRA DOCS:

Safety: Safety is the top priority during HV switchgear installation. All necessary safety precautions should be taken to protect workers and the environment.

Equipment preparation: All equipment should be inspected and tested before use to ensure that it is fit for purpose.

Site preparation: The installation site should be prepared by clearing any obstacles, ensuring that the area is clean and dry, and providing access equipment if needed.

Installation procedure: The installation procedure should follow the approved design and the manufacturer's instructions. All connections should be made according to specified torque settings and in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.

Testing and commissioning: The switchgear should be tested and commissioned to ensure it is functioning correctly and safely. This includes electrical testing, functional testing, and performance testing.

Documentation: Accurate records of all installation procedures should be kept, including test results, inspection reports, and any changes made to the original design.

Training: Personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of the switchgear should be properly trained and competent. This includes training on the operation of the switchgear, maintenance procedures, and emergency procedures.
